The Mathematics Instructional Learning Community (MILC) Project is an alliance among Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) math teachers focusing on:
  • Increasing the pedagogy and content knowledge of math teachers;
  • Integrating technology tools into everyday math instruction; and
  • Developing, implementing and revising units of study.

Developed by our FCPS District Math Curriculum Team, and work led by SBIS Ronni Tallent, please see the attached "Big Rocks" for PreCalculus.

All other Big Rock Math Documents can be found in the FCPS Math Framework.

Big Rocks are those Essential Standards, Essential Skills, Essential Concepts that are non-negotiable for a course.

We have Big Rocks in Math for Kindergarten through Precalculus.
