Location: Tates Creek | Hi, all. Considering we are supposed to do a 10-minute presentation of our final unit on March 29th, I figure we ought to start the dialogue about who's going to do what. Since we only have 10 minutes, my thinking is that we just show the highlights ... for instance, the opening video (Kristen), the FLASH game (Ryan), the factoring manipulatives (Marci), Galileo's Ramp (Kelly), and the CPS Review (Shannon). I also included a TI Navigator activity with one of the lessons I created, but it may be more trouble than it's worth to try and set that up.
I've already asked Bryson to try and get a TV with DVD player for the video. The FLASH game Ryan could bring on his pen drive. Marci & Kelly would need to bring the materials for their manipulatives demonstration, and I can bring a laptop with the CPS software to demonstrate that. If we think quick previews of all that would take more than 10 minutes, then I figure we can cut Marci's and my parts.
Thoughts? These are just some ideas to get the discussion started. |
