The Mathematics Instructional Learning Community (MILC) Project is an alliance among Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) math teachers focusing on:
  • Increasing the pedagogy and content knowledge of math teachers;
  • Integrating technology tools into everyday math instruction; and
  • Developing, implementing and revising units of study.

Location: IAKSS
These semester finals - fall - at Winter Break and Spring Semester (in May) are provided for standards support and to identify gaps.

Not required, but some of our middle schools DO require a final, so we created!

Also helpful for students who "skip" courses to identify what standards they still need to learn/practice/clarify.

These are Grade 7 (for students who take 7th grade math in Grade 6).

These are the Grade 6 "finals" for both end of 1st Semester and end of year.

They are optional but very worthy of time! Diagnostic supports for student, teacher, and families, and the next grade math teacher - too!
