Personal finance education gains traction
Lawmakers in Nebraska, Hawaii and Arkansas have created laws this year requiring
personal finance education in high schools, and more than 20 other states have introduced
such legislation or have bills awaiting a governor's signature, according to the Next Gen Personal Finance tracker.
Among them, seven states have a course dedicated to personal finance -- which the nonprofit calls "the gold standard" of such education.
