The Mathematics Instructional Learning Community (MILC) Project is an alliance among Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) math teachers focusing on:
  • Increasing the pedagogy and content knowledge of math teachers;
  • Integrating technology tools into everyday math instruction; and
  • Developing, implementing and revising units of study.

I'm confused about giving quizzes and tests on Chapters 1 and 2. I've gathered that since they are so easy for the kids we are going to test them together. Actually, Natalee told me that. According to the long range plans made this spring, a Chap. 1 test is listed. What are you all doing about this?

I think chapter 1 and 2 are together on the framework because the material and standards are so similar. I think you shoud do what you think is best for your students. I am going to give my kids a test on Chapter 1 so they can start off with an easier test before things get me difficult.
