Math![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: IAKSS | Attached is an ABC Sum Race. Students are in groups of 3. Students need the "recording sheet" and then each works one problem. They find the "sum" of the 3 problems and report "that sum" back to the teacher to see if all are correct. Attachments ---------------- ![]()

Math![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: IAKSS | The powerpoint attached is for enVision Lesson 4-2. It provides MANY suggested activities using enVision problems and tasks in Kagan cooperative groups, and other problem-solving ways. The engaging ideas can be used with "any" lesson - but are customized for Algebra 1 enVision lesson 4-2. Debbie Waggoner created the powerpoint and "snips" from Pearson products with enVision! Thanks for using! Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]()

Math![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: IAKSS | Desmos Calculator in Test Mode App capacity is loaded on every middle and high school FCPS Chromebook. Remember - Desmos Test Mode app only works when the student has logged OUT of the Chromebook. Lighthouse Teacher, Susan McGrath, created this tutorial for anyone wanting to turn any Chromebook into a Desmos calculator in kiosk mode. Instructions and a video are included. Feel free to share with math or science teachers. This is the same calculator that will be embedded in KPREP testing and the sophomore 10th-grade math test required by KDE in Spring 2020. bit.ly/DesmosTestModeApp The video link is in that document and here is that link separately: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZPWv_CV_UQ This "quiz" for systems was created by Susan to use with the Desmos App for practice. Math![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: IAKSS | From: Kinman, Sarah Subject: Topic 4 Pearson Review Here is the review I use. The back page has a place where all the questions came from. I would like a better way to keep track of this, but for now this will work. Very successful. I had students to log on AFTER the SNIPS were complete to see how to type in answers so they will get items correct on test assessment day. Attachments ---------------- ![]()

Math![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: IAKSS | Warm-ups or Starters' or Flashbacks from Katherine Babb. When Katherine created - she "snipped" the Try It problems from each section in each enVision Topic. So, these questions come directly from enVision. Note - and this is IMPORTANT - Teachers should use the warm-up the day AFTER the section is taught. For example, use 1-4 the day AFTER teaching sections 1-4. ACT warm-ups are also included for schools that are required to use an ACT warm-up. Attachments ---------------- ![]()

Elimination https://youtu.be/FueTOhtYDj8?si=RNjoYvSNrvbFK__X • For the part with no sound, I would start it about 30 seconds in. And then end around 3:50:ish • When you show it the second time, I would show the entire video
