Math![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: IAKSS | I created this task for students to explore the difference between linear and exponential graphs. I love the similar ones we got at the MDC day. This one can be shared on google classroom. I will assign each student their own copy and they can type directly on it Thanks! Hayley Kissick, Beaumont Attachments ---------------- ![]()

Math![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: IAKSS | Compound Interest Rate formula portion of 6.3/6.4 in Algebra 1. From PLDunbar PLC I put Compound Interest Rate Formula on my notes, but I'm trying to keep it simple and only asking them to solve for A, rather than trying to look at a graph to solve for t. I'm attaching my notes for reference! I used enVision examples and supplemented with some of my own as well ?? I spent a lot more time in class going over the first page, talking only about exponential growth and decay, and then introduced compound interest as a special type of exponential growth problem and told them if they learned it now it would make it easier when they saw it again in Alg 2! See attached notes pages that I created. I am interested in any feedback and thank you! Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]()

There is also a Review Game that can be used for small groups where EVERY student has a white board and every student shows work when one student chooses a category and item. It is a PowerPoint Review. Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]() ![]()
