Included is Desmos activities for student.desmos.com, Algebra tile applets for online use, and extra activities and tools to make sure your students have success with adding, subtracting, multiplying and factoring polynomials. How to integrate Algebra Tiles in Algebra I Topic 7? http://bit.ly/Alg1Topic7 bit.ly/Alg1Topic7 If you need any help with Algebra tiles or Desmos, or would even like a co-teacher, email Natalee and she will come and co-teach with you! Math![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: IAKSS | Card Sort Ms. Feese, I linked my activity from yesterday below. The first is the doc I used, and the second is my actual problems that I used to print. The last is a sample before it's been completed by a student. Here's how I did it if it's helpful. Each student gets a chart, and nine slips of paper ( color-coded): 1.) trinomial a=1 pink 2.) trinomial a>1, set equal to zero yellow 3.) trinomial a>1, set equal to zero yellow 4.) trinomial a>1, not set equal to zero yellow 5.) trinomial a>1, not set equal to zero yellow 6.) Factors orange 7.) Factors orange 8.) Solutions green 9.) Solutions green Then, students complete the missing boxes to find factors, solutions, or the original trinomial equation. Hope this is helpful!!
