The Mathematics Instructional Learning Community (MILC) Project is an alliance among Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) math teachers focusing on:
  • Increasing the pedagogy and content knowledge of math teachers;
  • Integrating technology tools into everyday math instruction; and
  • Developing, implementing and revising units of study.

Students can submit a listing of “Top 10 Things I Learned from the ACT Show” (or a similar assignment – see attached!).

In the past, math teachers have successfully:
• posted the link on Canvas as a homework assignment.
• had students watch and use the work-along on an NTI day.
• had kids watch on a sub day when the teacher was absent (left the work-along and YouTube link with sub plans).
LOTS of options, BUT kids will learn when they watch.
